About This Role
- Own and implement QA and test automation practices for backend services and front-end applications throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites using JUnit, Karma, Jasmine, and Protractor; integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast feedback.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate acceptance criteria into test scenarios and manage test coverage and quality reporting to diverse audiences.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering degree required.
- 2-4 years of experience in Software Testing, QA Automation, and Test Framework Development.
- Proficient with test automation tools including JUnit, JaCoCo, Karma, Jasmine, and Protractor or their successors.
- Experience managing test case design, execution, and traceability using TestRail.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in defining QA and test strategies balancing automated and manual testing.
- Ability to embed quality gates and review checkpoints early in the software delivery lifecycle to reduce late-stage defects.
- Skilled in integrating automated testing within CI/CD pipelines and communicating quality metrics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
