About This Role
- Manage end-to-end payroll operations for India including salary calculations, deductions, benefits, and timely salary disbursement for over 6000 employees.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Indian labour laws, tax regulations (PF, ESI, PT, TDS), and conduct payroll audits and tax filings.
- Lead and manage a team (2-3 members as per role overview, with experience required managing 5+), collaborate with HR, Finance, and Taxation to resolve discrepancies and maintain payroll data integrity.
Minimum Requirements
- 14 to 16 years of experience in payroll management including taxation with experience managing payroll for more than 6000 employees in India.
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA in accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field.
- Experience leading a team of more than 5 members and conducting payroll audits is mandatory.
- Proficiency in payroll software like SAP and ADP, with demonstrated experience in payroll system implementation and management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong expertise in Indian payroll processes including multi-state payroll, statutory compliance, tax regulations, and labour law adherence.
- Demonstrated capability in managing complex payroll data with strong organizational skills to meet strict deadlines and regulatory updates.
- Experience operating in cross-functional environments involving HR, finance, and taxation, with leadership skills for team and project management in payroll services.
