About This Role
- Lead a portfolio of technology delivery supporting Lilly USA affiliate business, spanning dynamic targeting, AI-enabled field experience products, sales platforms, data intelligence, value & access technology, and customer support solutions.
- Manage and grow a team of 50+ technology professionals, driving engineering rigor across architecture, code quality, CI/CD, security, and modern cloud-native engineering practices (AWS).
- Drive AI-first engineering innovation by integrating LLMs, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation to enhance products and workflows, while partnering with business stakeholders for impactful technology outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive software engineering or engineering leadership experience, including leading large teams of 50+ professionals.
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS preferred), distributed systems, and API-driven architectures.
- 5+ years managing global teams and collaborating with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven engineering leader with a strong background in cloud-native architectures and large-scale distributed systems, comfortable managing 50+ engineers through multiple management layers.
- Experienced at bridging technology and business domains, especially in HCP engagement, sales ops, and value & access commercial functions to translate strategy into engineering roadmaps.
- Advanced expertise or demonstrable interest in AI/ML, particularly applying LLMs, agentic technologies, and AI-first frameworks within regulated or complex environments.
