About This Role
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and search relevance models (ranking, retrieval, semantic search) to power enterprise search experiences.
- Optimize search pipelines using keyword, behavioral, contextual, and semantic signals; implement NLP-driven features including query understanding and Generative AI techniques (e.g., RAG, prompt engineering).
- Analyze search data and KPIs to identify gaps, validate improvements via A/B testing; collaborate with engineering and product teams to operationalize scalable, cloud-deployed models.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent technical field.
- Typically 5+ years' experience in applied data science, machine learning, or search-related systems.
- Experience developing and deploying ML models for search, recommendation, or relevance-driven systems with strong Python skills and knowledge of ML libraries.
- This is an onsite role requiring five days a week attendance; relocation is available.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in search relevance technologies including Learning-to-Rank, semantic retrieval, NLP, and Generative AI applications on large-scale enterprise datasets.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments and deploying models on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with MLOps tooling.
- Domain experience in industrial, manufacturing, automotive sectors or eCommerce search is a strong plus.
