About This Role
- Lead financial strategy, planning, and budgeting for a new foreign university India campus operating as a joint venture.
- Establish and oversee finance systems, compliance with Indian regulations, financial reporting, risk management, and capital planning.
- Build and manage the finance team; provide strategic financial advice and ensure alignment with university governance and international standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field; professional qualification CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent required.
- Minimum 10 years of senior financial leadership experience, preferably in regulated or international organizations.
- Essential experience with Indian taxation, financial regulations, higher education or transnational education environments, governance, compliance, and financial reporting.
- Location requirement: Gurugram, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader capable of operating independently with strategic oversight in complex, cross-border educational or multinational settings.
- Proven ability managing significant capital projects, long-term financial sustainability models, and stakeholder engagement including governing boards.
- Strong expertise in Indian and international financial regulations, risk management, and influencing executive and board-level decision making.
