About This Role
- Design and develop Java 17+ Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs focused on trade processing, accounting, and settlement on AWS platform.
- Build and maintain ReactJS/TypeScript front-end components integrating with back-end services, including handling authentication and state management.
- Leverage AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Devin for coding efficiency, while ensuring full accountability for code quality, security, and compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience with a strong back-end focus.
- Proficiency in Java 17+, Spring Boot, REST API design, Kafka and/or IBM MQ messaging, and Oracle or other enterprise relational databases with strong SQL skills.
- Hands-on experience with AWS core services including ECS/EKS or Lambda, S3, SQS/SNS, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Working knowledge of ReactJS, TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and experience using AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Devin in professional delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud-native services following AWS Well-Architected principles within finance or middle-office domains.
- Proven capability to deliver production-ready full-stack solutions using Java microservices and React front ends, with strong ownership of code quality and security.
- Practiced in agile delivery environments with continuous integration/deployment pipelines, and knowledgeable in AI-assisted development workflows and tool usage patterns.
