About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain automated end-to-end UI and API test suites for modernization of middle-office applications migrating to AWS.
- Develop and run scalable UI automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, WebdriverIO) and API tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines as quality gates.
- Use AI coding tools to accelerate test creation and maintenance; support migration testing, data reconciliation, and performance validation to ensure system parity and reliability.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years in test automation or software engineering in test.
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one UI automation tool among Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, or WebdriverIO, and working knowledge of at least one other.
- Proficient programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript and/or Java.
- Experience automating REST API tests and running tests in CI/CD pipelines (Harness, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in scaling automation frameworks across multiple teams in complex modernization programs.
- Knowledgeable in UI automation, API automation, contract testing, and performance testing in financial services domain, particularly trading, settlement, or accounting.
- Familiar operating in agile delivery environments using advanced testing tools, with demonstrated ability to reduce flaky tests and improve feedback cycle times.
