About This Role
- Define and integrate AI/ML and Zero Trust security architectures into Cisco’s core networking and security products.
- Build and lead development of cloud-native security platforms leveraging Kubernetes, multi-cloud, telemetry, and real-time AI inference pipelines.
- Drive end-to-end delivery from architecture to production; mentor teams across security, AI, and platform engineering.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years experience in platform engineering, distributed systems, or security architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM applications for security use cases, including deployment and scaling.
- Strong expertise in network and cloud security (firewalls, Zero Trust, secure access), cloud-native systems (Kubernetes, microservices), and cloud-native security tools (e.g., Tetragon, eBPF).
- Programming skills in C/C++, Go, and/or Java; Python for AI integration and automation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in driving cross-functional initiatives from architecture through production in AI-driven security domains.
- Deep knowledge of Zero Trust, SSE/SASE, identity-driven architectures, and multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strategic focus on connecting platform innovation to customer-facing products and business outcomes.
