About This Role
- Oversee end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and yearly payroll processing for India and potentially other countries, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Manage statutory filings (Income Tax, PF, PT, LWF), financial controls including SOX compliance, and vendor management for outsourced payroll operations.
- Drive continuous improvement in payroll processes, manage employee queries, and maintain stakeholder communication and reporting including GL accounting data submission.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-10 years of demonstrated payroll processing experience with strong knowledge of payroll legislations and processes.
- Experience using payroll systems for at least 8 years, including exposure to expatriates' shadow payroll (international assignees).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce.
- English fluency with excellent communication skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing payroll within shared services or multi-country environments, comfortable handling complex payroll compliance and vendor relationships.
- Skilled in driving continuous process improvements and functional optimizations within payroll and HR administration areas.
- Proficient with payroll and HRIS systems (Workday, ServiceNow) and capable of supporting change management and multi-geography cross-functional teams.
