Job description
Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Own and optimize the entire user growth funnel: signup, onboarding, activation, upsells, trial-to-paid conversion with direct accountability for converting trials to paying customers.
- Lead and prioritize a continuous roadmap of growth experiments end to end, from data insights through AI-enabled prototyping and shipping with engineering, focusing on key metrics like trial start rate, activation, and paid conversion.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Growth Marketing, Engineering, Design, and Product teams to fix high-friction funnel moments, design upsells and trial experiences, and integrate lifecycle strategies for acquisition and retention.
Minimum Requirements
- Work Experience Required: Not explicitly mentioned in the JD
- Proven experience managing growth product areas related to user onboarding, activation, and conversion.
- Experience with rapid iteration cycles and comfort with frequent context switching in a high expectations environment.
- Ability to prototype and design product experiments leveraging AI tools, design systems and ship directly with engineering (beyond just writing specs).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- An AI-native product manager capable of independently moving from data insights to shipped growth experiments without reliance on external designers.
- Experienced in end-to-end ownership of growth surfaces in fast-moving startup environments with significant impact on revenue and user engagement.
- Comfortable managing complex organizational dynamics and multiple priorities in a non-traditional, high velocity work setting.
