About This Role
- Coordinate and manage digital health and AI interventions in Chhattisgarh under the UHC and health SDG agenda, including AI evaluations like SAKSHAMA and telemedicine scale-up.
- Support development and implementation of the state Digital Health and AI roadmap aligned with national standards and WHO guidance.
- Serve as liaison between government, WHO-SEARO, partners, and funders, providing technical advice, capacity building, monitoring, and reporting on digital health and AI initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-8 years total work experience; at least 4 years specifically on digital and AI projects or data science applications in health services.
- Master's degree in data science, public health, computer science, engineering, mathematics, law, or related field with 5+ years of combined education and experience in health and technology.
- Experience liaising with senior government officials (e.g., IAS) and managing complex stakeholder coordination in government health systems.
- Proficiency in English; location requirement: based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven program or project management skills in digital health and AI with experience in planning, implementation, and monitoring.
- Experience working with government health systems and familiarity with health policy development, preferably in Indian states with National Health Mission involvement.
- Strong executive presence and effective communication skills with senior government officials, combined with technical expertise in AI applications for public health.
