About This Role
- Lead end-to-end research, design, development, and deployment of autonomous data platform services including data lake, database, data transformation, and AI services.
- Design system architecture and implement integrations for scalable, self-managed cloud-native data services primarily using distributed systems like Spark and NiFi.
- Perform production troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and maintain architecture and support documentation to ensure platform reliability and quality.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in NiFi, Spark, Java/Scala, and distributed ecosystems including NoSQL databases, Presto/Trino, ClickHouse, Airflow, and Cassandra.
- Experience developing Kubernetes-centric applications is a plus but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, IT, or related field is preferred but not explicitly mandated.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and maintaining highly available, fault-tolerant data pipelines and cloud-native data services at scale.
- Proficient in exploratory data analysis, data visualization, and data architecture concepts including data quality, governance, modeling, and common patterns.
- Comfortable working with telecom industry domain knowledge and able to operate effectively in a hybrid Bangalore office setting.
