About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain Layer 2/3/4 forwarding functions and routing protocols (especially BGP) within SONiC OS.
- Implement and optimize Access Control Lists (ACL) and Quality of Service (QoS) features in SONiC.
- Debug and resolve issues across SONiC stack, and integrate Switch Abstraction Interface (SAI) components working with cross-functional teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum education: B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from a reputed institution.
- At least 12 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SONiC OS architecture and internals, SAI, L2/L3/L4 networking protocols, ACL, QoS, BGP in SONiC, and REDIS database.
- Experience with Linux Kernel development/debugging, SONiC-CLI, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Onsite work required primarily from an HPE office in India.
