About This Role
- Manage day-to-day operations and service delivery of fund accounting oversight team(s), ensuring NAV/yield accuracy and SLA compliance.
- Serve as primary escalation point for operational issues, providing technical expertise and managing budgets including overtime.
- Lead team training, hiring, performance management, coordinate client projects, regulatory compliance, and drive operational best practices and risk culture.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years management experience, preferably in fund accounting, audit firm, or financial services.
- Experience with hedge fund accounting, securities language, SEC yields, distributions, NAV calculations, and mutual fund accounting including general ledger reconciliation.
- Educational requirement: Bachelor’s degree in commerce/economics with specialization in Finance/Accounting or MBA preferred.
- Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Coimbatore, Chennai, Mumbai; North America shifts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader with end-to-end fund accounting operational ownership and the ability to manage cross-functional teams globally.
- Strong financial services domain knowledge including trading instruments (Equities, Options, Bonds, CDS) and hedge fund operational expertise.
- Proven track record in personnel management, coaching, dispute resolution, and executing client-facing communications with executive presence.
