About This Role
- Define and build scalable architectures for agentic AI platforms enhancing network troubleshooting, operational assistance, and automated remediation across Cisco's network and security products.
- Lead technical direction across multiple teams to deliver cloud-native, reliable AI-driven network and security operational tools integrating telemetry, event-processing, and multi-cloud environments.
- Establish evaluation standards, safety guardrails and architect resilient, cost-efficient systems for production deployment of AI agents managing large-scale telemetry and operational data.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years experience in networking, security, platform engineering, distributed systems or related fields.
- Proven senior technical leadership experience as a principal engineer, architect, or equivalent.
- Strong expertise in enterprise network management, fault management, automation, and production system design for network assurance.
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based or agentic AI systems, high-volume streaming/event-driving platforms (Kafka, Flink, etc.), cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes, microservices) and programming in Java and/or Python.

- Deep domain knowledge in enterprise network operations combined with agentic AI technology application for autonomous network and security operations.
