About This Role
- Design and implement automated and manual tests, including UI and API testing, to ensure product quality.
- Develop and maintain test scripts using tools like Playwright and Rest Assured, collaborating with Scrum teams to integrate automation with Sprints/Releases.
- Track quality assurance metrics, debug issues, and define corrective actions working closely with cross-functional teams for customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in test case planning, automation and manual testing, script development, and maintenance.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Playwright and programming languages Typescript or Java; API testing experience using Rest Assured or similar.
- Experience with test management software like qTest and JIRA, and practical use of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) during test cycles.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent; location requirement: Bangalore (3 days a week office presence).

- Experienced in Agile software development with collaborative cross-functional team involvement, demonstrating strong integration and system interaction understanding.
- Strong logical thinking and root cause analysis skills to identify and resolve defects across complex, multi-region software products.
- Proactive in ownership of quality improvement initiatives, including functional, non-functional, performance, security, and database testing with a broader integration mindset.
