About This Role
- Design and maintain deployment patterns with ArgoCD and Kargo across dev, staging, and production environments.
- Optimize and troubleshoot GKE workloads including autoscaling and network policies; build reusable Terraform modules for multi-cloud infrastructure.
- Lead incident response and postmortems; automate operational tasks and harden CI/CD pipelines using Python and shell scripting.
Minimum Requirements
- 4–6+ years in backend or infrastructure-focused engineering roles, with at least 2 years owning production systems at scale.
- Hands-on Kubernetes production experience, preferably GKE, including autoscaling and network policies.
- Strong GCP fundamentals and experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Work Experience Required: 4–6+ years backend or infra engineering; 2+ years production ownership.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in system reliability at scale with expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure management.
- Operates with a strategic mindset on cascading failures, alerting (SLIs/SLOs), and incident mitigation.
- Comfortable influencing through code reviews, documentation, and design discussions in a hybrid collaborative environment.
