About This Role
- Lead day-to-day production support and operations for enterprise job scheduling and workload automation platforms (HCL Workload Automation, GSCI, Velocity).
- Serve as senior technical authority for scheduling support, coordinating with application, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure reliable batch job execution and timely downstream process completion.
- Drive operational excellence via incident management, knowledge management, mentoring India-based engineers, and continuous improvement of scheduling environment.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in IT production support, application operations, infrastructure operations, batch processing, or Site Reliability Engineering with leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with enterprise workload automation/job scheduling platforms such as HCL Workload Automation, TWS, Control-M, or similar.
- Location requirement: Bengaluru, India; Work type: Full time.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling large-scale batch processing, job dependency mapping, scheduling calendars, and cross-application workload orchestration.
- Familiar with ITSM practices including incident and problem management and observability tools.
- Capable of providing technical leadership and mentoring to support capability development and operational maturity within a technical production environment.
