About This Role
- Own and manage the entire Project Management Unit (PMU) responsible for reviewing and transforming language institutions aligned with NEP 2020, including leading institutional diagnosis, restructuring, and policy implementation.
- Lead multi-stakeholder coordination with Ministry of Education, states, institutions, and senior officials to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and progress tracking across concurrent workstreams and complex consultations.
- Oversee data collection, analysis, digital transformation (including AI integration), performance-linked funding frameworks, and capacity building initiatives for institutional reforms in the language education ecosystem.
Minimum Requirements
- Postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) in Management, Public Policy, Education, or related field is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years professional experience, including at least 7 years in management consulting, education advisory, institutional transformation, or public sector programme management involving Central and State Governments.
- Proven experience as Project Manager or Lead on central Ministry of Education or higher education engagements involving transformation or restructuring of national institutions, including managing multidisciplinary teams and senior government stakeholders.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 10 years with specific sector experience as above; Project management certification and Ph.D. preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams across multiple concurrent projects with high stakeholder complexity including senior government officials and university leadership.
- Experience with institutional diagnostics, restructuring, higher education financing, and implementing education policy reforms especially within central government or large-scale education programmes.
- Technical fluency in digital transformation including AI integration in education sector, and experience with multi-state consultation processes in the public education domain.
