About This Role
- Own and scale Razorpay's payment infrastructure impacting developers and businesses across India and globally.
- Design, build, and drive features end-to-end for REST APIs and payment products with a strong focus on product and user experience.
- Contribute to product and design discussions, introducing AI-augmented workflows and innovative solutions in online payments.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: PHP, Python, Django, Golang, Java, or C++.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and ability to build features independently from scratch to completion.
- Hands-on experience actively using AI coding assistants and strong capability in critically reviewing AI-generated code.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building scalable and reliable backend systems for payment or fintech products.
- Product-oriented engineer with a strong design sense, able to influence product direction and user experience.
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI tools effectively into development workflows with sound judgment on their use cases and limitations.
