About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and storage solutions primarily on Google Cloud Platform.
- Ensure data quality through validation and cleansing, and optimize data processes for reliability and performance.
- Collaborate across teams to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions impacting reporting and analytics at scale.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering with hands-on building ETL pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python programming for data pipeline development.
- Experience with real-time/streaming technologies such as Pub/Sub, Kafka, or Spark Streaming and understanding of pipeline design for scalability and reliability.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and delivering large-scale data platforms using Google Cloud services, familiar with BigQuery and related tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment collaborating with engineers, product managers, and architects across full project life cycle.
- Has strong problem-solving abilities and can translate business needs into technical data engineering solutions effectively.
