About This Role
- Lead end-to-end global Record-to-Report (R2R) operations across Americas, EMEA, and APAC ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial close.
- Drive financial governance including IFRS/US GAAP compliance, internal/external audit coordination, SOX/JSOX controls, and remediation of audit findings.
- Own continuous process improvements and digital transformation initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, automation, ERP optimization) to reduce cycle time and improve financial integrity while leading a global team of 30+ members.
Minimum Requirements
- 17+ years progressive experience in R2R/Financial Accounting with global operations exposure (Americas, EMEA, APAC).
- Proven leadership experience managing large teams (minimum 25+ members) in GBS/FSSC/Shared Services environments.
- Deep technical expertise in month-end close, balance sheet management, intercompany accounting, audit, and controls.
- Preferred Chartered Accountant qualification and Lean/Six Sigma certification (not strictly mandatory).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced at managing complex global R2R teams with strong stakeholder management and proven ability to drive compliance and control frameworks.
- Strategic operator with deep accounting judgment, balance sheet risk assessment skills, and track record in process transformation and automation.
- Comfortable operating at global scale liaising with finance leadership, audit, and IT/digital teams to drive ERP and analytics tool adoption.
