About This Role
- Own the technical design and delivery of chat team projects including system design and implementation in production Python.
- Lead engineering priorities, technical standards, and day-to-day technical decisions while mentoring junior developers.
- Enhance reliability, observability, latency, and cost management of chat and agentic systems, driving AI-native development practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 4–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python with experience writing typed, testable, maintainable production code.
- Hands-on experience building and operating LLM or agentic applications with frameworks like LangGraph or similar.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and conducting in-depth code reviews for design, correctness, and maintainability.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and operating complex agentic systems involving conversation state, multi-step workflows, and model orchestration.
- Skilled in agentic coding workflows including planning, implementation, testing, debugging, and code review with coding agents.
- Demonstrates strong engineering judgment, the ability to simplify system design, and drives AI-native workflow improvements within teams.
