About This Role
- Lead QA team to ensure delivery of high-quality software products by developing and executing comprehensive test plans including automation.
- Manage day-to-day performance, mentoring, hiring, and career development of QA engineers to maintain a high-performing team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, product owners, and senior leadership to align testing strategies and quality goals with business objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years in Quality Assurance focusing on functional and automated testing.
- 1-2 years in formal people leadership role or equivalent experience including technical lead responsibilities with ownership over delivery and mentoring.
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright; proficiency in Agile/Scrum environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading QA teams with clear ownership of delivery and mentoring junior engineers.
- Strong technical background in both frontend and backend testing including APIs, integrations, and data validation.
- Ability to drive QA process improvements and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
