About This Role
- Review escalated customer accounts to identify and mitigate payments fraud risks including chargebacks, ACH returns, wire disputes, and account takeovers.
- Analyze fraud trends and patterns in payment activities to provide actionable insights to Payments Risk management.
- Collaborate with investigations team to improve rule performance and operational workflows, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of fraud assessments.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in payments risk, fraud analysis, or risk operations within financial services or e-commerce.
- Strong understanding of payment systems, fraud detection methodologies, and risk mitigation strategies.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in English communication; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, primarily in-office environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in detailed fraud investigations with ability to identify root causes and patterns in payment fraud.
- Comfortable working with AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency, cost, and quality in workflows.
- Familiarity or interest in blockchain analytics and cryptocurrency fraud trends is a plus but not mandatory.
