About This Role
- Own end-to-end design, development, deployment, and operation of production GenAI, agentic AI, and ML systems impacting millions of Walmart associates globally.
- Architect stateful AI systems supporting multi-turn, personalized, and reliable AI experiences including conversational state and memory management.
- Drive evaluation strategies for AI systems including benchmarks, A/B testing, and continuous monitoring while ensuring trustworthy AI practices and governance.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years professional experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable AI/ML and GenAI systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, economics, or related quantitative field.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI production systems including Retrieval-Augmented Generation and agentic AI frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
- Experience with production deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), Python coding, MLOps/LLMOps, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and large-scale data tools (SQL, Spark, BigQuery).

- Experienced in deploying advanced GenAI and agentic AI solutions in large-scale, multi-country enterprise environments.
- Skilled in designing stateful AI workflows with strong focus on reliability, personalization, and governance of AI agents.
- Able to mentor junior data scientists and contribute to technical hiring, design discussions, and advancing ML engineering practices.
