About This Role
- Design, create, and implement SQL Server database systems to ensure stability, reliability, and performance.
- Analyze and improve query plans and application performance including index management and transaction/deadlock analysis.
- Develop database objects (schemas, tables, views, functions, stored procedures) and manage user authentication/authorization in Azure Directory and SQL Server.
Minimum Requirements
- 7-10 years of work experience, with at least 6+ years in SQL Server development and administration.
- Strong experience with complex SQL functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Expertise in SQL Server administration, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with index management, transaction and deadlock analysis; familiarity with Agile methodologies and Git is preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing SQL Server databases in cloud-based environments, including Azure.
- Comfortable developing and maintaining high-performance databases with a focus on query tuning and stability.
- Able to work within Agile teams using version control (Git) and document technical projects effectively.
