About This Role
- Develop and support scalable, extensible, and highly available data engineering solutions aligned with regulatory and business priorities.
- Design and develop analytical data models ensuring data quality, security, and compliance throughout the data supply chain.
- Lead medium-sized components independently, mentor team members, and remove or escalate project roadblocks for successful delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- First Class Degree in Engineering/Technology (4-year graduate course).
- 9 to 11 years experience in data-intensive solution implementation using agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/data integration platforms like Ab Initio, Apache Spark, Talend, or Informatica and proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL).
- Experience in programming with Python, Java, or Scala and familiarity with data warehousing, data modeling, and big data platforms like Hadoop, Hive, or Snowflake.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in cloud-native technologies and data platforms such as S3, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, or BigQuery with understanding of architectural trade-offs.
- Comfortable with DevOps practices including CI/CD, version control, automated quality control, and job scheduling (e.g., Autosys).
- Ability to handle data governance aspects including data quality, security, privacy, and compliance, while independently delivering data engineering components.
