About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade data pipelines, services, and APIs to ingest, transform, and serve data from multiple sources.
- Develop and optimize relational and analytical data models and schemas ensuring performance and consistency across products.
- Ensure data quality and reliability through automated tests, monitoring, alerting, and lead troubleshooting in production environments.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years professional software engineering experience including building data-intensive applications or pipelines in production.
- Strong proficiency in Python or comparable language with solid software engineering fundamentals.
- Advanced SQL skills with relational data modeling and query optimization on large datasets.
- Experience with REST API design, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing scalable, multi-tenant SaaS data systems with data isolation and privacy safeguards.
- Comfortable mentoring engineers and collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, and data teams.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and CI/CD workflows for efficient development and maintenance.
