About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend APIs and services supporting the entire marketplace order journey.
- Own development tasks end-to-end, ensuring solutions meet real business requirements and improve marketplace operations (supplier matching, order allocation, production, shipment).
- Enhance system reliability through testing, monitoring, and collaboration with global engineering teams to improve architecture and development standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in backend web application development.
- Proficiency in Python for designing, developing, testing, and monitoring production applications.
- Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced backend developer with strong Python and database skills focused on scalable, event-driven systems.
- Capable of taking full ownership of development from design through deployment, aligning technical solutions with business goals.
- Comfortable working collaboratively within global, cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
