About This Role
- Design, develop, and deliver backend features supporting the complete order lifecycle in a scalable marketplace platform.
- Lead technical projects including architectural decisions and mentor other engineers to promote engineering best practices.
- Improve system quality and platform capabilities through testing, monitoring, and collaboration with multiple teams including Backend Engineering Guild.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of experience developing web applications and backend services.
- Strong proficiency in Python with experience in designing, developing, testing, and monitoring production-grade systems.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD environments.
- Experience leading technical projects and working in Agile environments with cross-functional collaboration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in scalable backend system development with deep knowledge of Python and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
- Demonstrates leadership in technical decision-making and mentoring within engineering teams.
- Familiarity with marketplace or operational systems and event-driven architectures preferred but not mandatory.
