About This Role
- Lead design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise SQL Server databases ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Manage production support including backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and performance tuning of mission-critical databases.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to DBA teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams for database infrastructure decisions.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-12 years of work experience in SQL Server database administration and support.
- Strong expertise in SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server Administration, T-SQL, Backup & Recovery, Performance Tuning, Always On Availability Groups.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Work Location: Kochi with Hybrid work mode.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience leading complex database modernization, migration, and optimization projects, preferably in large-scale production environments.
- Familiarity with Azure SQL Database, Azure Managed Instances, PowerShell, Git/Azure DevOps, and cloud migration initiatives.
- Domain experience in Healthcare/Patient Hub, Data Warehousing, and skills in Power BI are advantageous.
