About This Role
- Manage and lead a team of professional-level employees driving data warehousing and BI solution development on Azure Cloud.
- Develop and implement data platform architectures including ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and related services.
- Collaborate with business clients to understand requirements, influence management decisions, and ensure data platform security, policies, and operational standards are met.
Minimum Requirements
- 9-13 years of experience in Data Warehousing or Data Engineering roles.
- At least 4+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Cloud platform, including Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, and PaaS services.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python and PySpark, and expert-level knowledge of SQL and database administration.
- Accredited Cloud professional with the ability to configure and manage Azure components related to ETL/ELT processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing enterprise-scale data solutions and operationalizing large-scale data platforms on Azure.
- Strong background collaborating with business stakeholders and influencing decisions at management level.
- Familiarity with agile software development lifecycle and maintaining data security, permissions, and governance policies.
