About This Role
- Own preparation and review of accurate, audit-ready monthly financial statements for a portfolio of associations.
- Lead accounting team operations including coaching and workload management, ensuring timely month-end close and compliance with US GAAP.
- Drive quality management processes, root cause analysis, process improvements, and support audits through error tracking and documentation standardization.
Minimum Requirements
- 7-10 years of hands-on accounting experience in Financial Reporting, Month-End Close, General Ledger Accounting, Reconciliations, and Audit Support.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP with ability to resolve complex accounting issues.
- Experience in Quality Management and Internal Review Frameworks such as Error Logs, Learning Logs, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience leading accounting teams and managing portfolio-based accounting operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in HOA, Condominium, Property Management, Association Accounting, or Outsourced Accounting Services preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and client communication skills suitable for client-facing financial operations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, drive process improvements, and lead quality assurance initiatives in accounting environments.
