About This Role
- Test end-to-end ServiceNow SAM (Software Asset Management) implementations and validate complex license entitlement, consumption, and compliance calculations.
- Develop, maintain, and extend test automation scripts using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and server-side JavaScript to ensure quick and reliable release cycles.
- Manage QA processes including defect tracking, test case documentation, stakeholder UAT support, and quality sign-off for releases.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years hands-on QA experience on ServiceNow platform within at least 3 years total software testing experience.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow SAM Professional or Software Asset Management concepts (entitlements, license metrics, reconciliation, compliance).
- Practical test automation experience preferably using ServiceNow ATF and JavaScript for server-side scripting.
- Experience with structured test case writing, defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira), and test management tools (e.g., Zephyr).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in detailed data validation and reconciliation across multiple data sources and complex business rules for licensing.
- Capable of translating detailed technical requirements and publisher-specific license metrics into traceable test scenarios and automation scripts.
- Comfortable collaborating with developers, business analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders through Agile sprint ceremonies and UAT cycles.
