About This Role
- Drive adoption and governance of AI-assisted software engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
- Develop, review, and debug secure, high-quality production code; influence product design and technical operations decisions.
- Provide technical guidance across teams, serve as a subject matter expert, and advocate firmwide SDLC frameworks and automation tools.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
- Proven experience using approved AI-assisted engineering tools across the software development lifecycle with focus on secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
- Deep expertise in Java 8+ / Spring Boot, microservices, React/Angular, Kafka/event-driven architecture, SQL and NoSQL databases, Cloud Foundry/AWS, and CI/CD.
- Experience with observability tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana) and building resilient, highly available architectures.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader in adopting and governing enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools within software engineering teams.
- Strong background in secure coding practices, responsible AI use, and coaching senior engineers on compliant AI tool usage and controls.
- Technically versatile with expertise spanning full SDLC toolchain, cloud-native microservices, event-driven architecture, and operational readiness.
