About This Role
- Design, develop, and optimize highly scalable, low-latency, and high-throughput payment processing systems focused on risk and security products.
- Create and execute performance testing strategies including load testing critical payment applications using tools like LoadRunner and JMeter, and interpret results to influence Go-Live certifications.
- Collaborate with architects and development teams to implement real-time metrics instrumentation and automation for continuous integration, monitoring, and incident response in a hybrid cloud environment.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 14+ years without, preferably in software development or related field.
- Proficient in Java and/or Python programming; experience in distributed enterprise application development using Java technology stack.
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux OS, virtualization technologies (VMs, containers), and performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter); knowledgeable in APM tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, Maven, GithubActions), and understanding of RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres).

- Experienced in architecting and optimizing distributed, scalable payment or financial systems with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Strong background in performance testing and monitoring, capable of independently designing test plans and interpreting system telemetry for continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in agile teams on hybrid cloud platforms with a focus on automation, observability, and collaboration across global domains and stakeholders.
