About This Role
- Manage the full data infrastructure ensuring scalability, efficiency, and resiliency within Microsoft Azure environments.
- Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes primarily using Azure services like Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and Azure storage solutions.
- Lead and mentor junior data engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role handling data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure services including Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Blob Storage, and Data Lake Storage Gen 2.
- Proficient in SQL DML querying on RDBMS such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL, and experience with big data technologies like Spark.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with implementing CI/CD and software engineering best practices within data engineering workflows.
- Comfortable owning end-to-end data pipeline architecture in Azure cloud environments and optimizing for performance and reliability.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively with data scientists, analysts, and architects to meet business data needs.
