About This Role
- Lead architecture and development of highly available, performant, and secure features for critical cloud-based foundational technologies including real-time protection, RBI, and SSPM services.
- Improve application and infrastructure health through innovative measurement, monitoring, and reporting alongside capacity planning and performance optimization of microservices.
- Participate actively in 24x7 on-call rotations, incident response, and drive efficiencies in systems including capacity planning, configuration, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years experience troubleshooting Unix/Linux in large-scale web operations.
- Proficiency in one or more languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
- Experience with private or public cloud services in highly available, scalable production environments and CI/CD automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible).
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent required; MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader with history of leading teams and cross-functional collaboration to deliver complex software features and solutions.
- Strong familiarity with cloud infrastructure technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and hybrid cloud environments including Google Cloud and on-premises setups.
- Skilled in debugging, performance tuning, distributed systems, and able to operate effectively in fast-paced, rapidly-changing environments with geographically distributed teams.
