About This Role
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities including preparation, review, and approval of accounting entries such as accruals and amortization.
- Perform quarterly balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis, monthly expense variance analysis, and manage consolidation including inter-company transactions with foreign currency accounting.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial statements as per GAAP and internal policies, manage fixed assets accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and liaise with auditors for audits.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-8 years overall professional experience with at least 4 years in Record-to-Report (R2R) including financial close, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Degree in Accounting or relevant professional accountancy qualification.
- Experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with preferably 5+ years in a reputable MNC.
- On-site work location in Gurugram, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working with US GAAP and large-scale ERP financial systems such as PeopleSoft.
- Demonstrated ability to fulfill SLAs with onshore controllership and finance teams with focus on internal controls and compliance.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
