About This Role
- Lead and manage end-to-end system and application testing deliverables including user acceptance testing (UAT) and product rollouts into production.
- Design, plan, and execute testing scripts and strategies, analyze test results, and recommend corrective actions to ensure quality within project timelines.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior testers and influence testing decisions impacting IT project quality and delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-10 years experience in Business or Systems Analysis related to testing roles.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Technical proficiency in PySpark, HDFS, Hive, Sqoop, Hadoop, SQL, and complex database queries including stored procedures and triggers.
- Experience with JIRA (preferably with Zephyr Test), understanding of Testing Lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex end-to-end automation testing and data-level validation across upstream and downstream systems including ETL processes.
- Strong capability to collaborate with cross-functional and dispersed teams, adopting lean process improvements and flexible project management in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence testing strategy and decisions with comprehensive knowledge of IT testing and big data technologies.
