About This Role
- Own design, development, and performance tuning of large-scale data solutions for the OTC suite of applications.
- Collaborate with CTI DBA and Windows SA experts to manage database patching, maintenance, and routine DBA activities.
- Define and enforce database standards including maintainability, performance, security, and quality for data platforms.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of IT experience with strong DBA background including routine tasks, database monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Oracle 19c, SQL Server 2016+, Unix, Python scripting, GitHub, and Autosys.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Mandatory finance industry experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling SQL Server and Oracle databases at scale with deep knowledge of data modeling (OLAP, OLTP) and query optimization.
- Capable of automating DBA tasks using Unix/Python scripting and familiar with Agile development methodologies.
- Skilled in complex problem analysis and capable of operating with minimal supervision under pressure.
