About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain platform features and tools supporting full software development lifecycle including build, test, deployment, and operation.
- Improve platform stability, scalability, security, and observability collaborating with SRE and Security teams to reduce incidents and control costs.
- Lead migration and adoption of new platform features and tools across large-scale systems impacting Japan and US marketplaces, influencing development agility and system reliability.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years experience developing, operating, and maintaining complex, scalable production and cloud-based systems.
- Strong computer science background with in-depth knowledge of major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency with container platforms like Kubernetes or Docker and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
- Excellent written communication skills and hands-on experience with scripting languages like Bash, Go, or Python.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with distributed systems or microservices architecture and understands service-level agreements for system reliability.
- Skilled in monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Elasticsearch.
- Able to pragmatically choose technology solutions, automate infrastructure operations, and enhance developer productivity across large-scale platforms.
