About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain platform features and tools that support the entire software development lifecycle, including build, test, deployment, and operation.
- Collaborate with SRE and Security teams to improve platform stability, scalability, availability, security, and observability to reduce incidents and control costs.
- Support migration and adoption of new platform features, automate daily operations, advocate engineering best practices, and engage with internal developers to understand needs.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience developing, operating, and maintaining complex, scalable production systems, including cloud platforms.
- Strong computer science background and deep knowledge of major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency with container platforms like Kubernetes or Docker in production environments and hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Go, Python).
- Experience implementing and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and excellent written communication skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience with distributed systems or microservices architecture and understanding of SLAs for system reliability.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch, and experience with service meshes (e.g., Istio, Kong, Linkerd).
- Skilled at building scalable infrastructure, operational automation, pragmatic in technology choices, and capable of collaborating effectively in dynamic environments.
