About This Role
- Own the end-to-end strategy and governance for tenant-to-tenant migration of SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams-connected file content during an M365 consolidation.
- Define and standardize migration blueprints including permissions fidelity, metadata handling, throttling, delta strategies, validation, and exception frameworks to enable repeatable factory execution with third-party tools (e.g., ShareGate).
- Lead operational governance including quality gates, runbook creation, failure escalation, and metrics tracking to ensure high-quality migration waves and protect user experience.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience delivering tenant-to-tenant SharePoint/OneDrive migrations at enterprise scale with evidence.
- Deep expertise in SharePoint Online/OneDrive including permissions, sharing models, information architecture, metadata, and governance controls.
- Hands-on experience with ShareGate or equivalent enterprise migration tooling and ability to analyze logs and failure modes.
- Work Experience Required: Not explicitly mentioned in the JD.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience managing large-scale migrations via factory or centralized execution models with standardized runbooks and quality control.
- Strong troubleshooting and escalation skills focused on permission anomalies, throttling, content mismatches, and complex failures.
- Ability to align shared data migrations with identity and Teams readiness to ensure smooth user experience across cross-functional teams and regions.
