About This Role
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable software solutions within an agile team for Consumer & Community Banking technology products.
- Drive adoption and implementation of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational stability.
- Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical applicability for existing systems.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of formal training or applied software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Java and Springboot with experience building microservices; front-end skills required for full-stack roles.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Demonstrated experience leading AI-assisted software development tool usage and understanding of responsible AI practices in engineering workflows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience operating within agile environments using CI/CD, application resiliency, and security best practices, specifically in financial services IT systems.
- Strong capability to independently solve complex design and functionality challenges with minimal supervision while mentoring others on AI-assisted tool validation.
- Background in banking domain with practical cloud native experience and AWS certification preferred.
