About This Role
- Design and deliver scalable Java-based microservices and APIs using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Integrate and operationalize AI agents and AI-assisted development tools to enhance engineering productivity and code quality.
- Develop and maintain secure, high-quality production code leveraging Elastic search and Python for AI/agent prototyping and automation.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of formal software engineering experience with applied system design and development.
- Advanced Java programming skills, strong experience with Spring Boot, Elastic search, and unit/integration testing.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code) and building AI agents/LLM-enabled workflows.
- Practical knowledge of agile methodologies (CI/CD), Kubernetes, and responsible AI use including data sensitivity and security considerations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building production-grade AI agentic systems with observability, fallback, and guardrails.
- Capable of integrating AI assistant tools effectively within agile development pipelines to boost productivity while ensuring code security.
- Comfortable operating in a complex, regulated financial services environment, delivering stable, secure technology solutions at scale.
