About This Role
- Develop and support MES software for lens manufacturing, focusing on migrating to a modern hybrid-cloud microservice environment.
- Manage deployment and troubleshooting of software solutions across edge environments using technologies like MSSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, and Docker.
- Create and maintain documentation and training materials; report and resolve bugs at the code level within agile projects using Azure DevOps.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
- Degree in computer science, business informatics, or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced Java programming skills and proficiency with Linux environment.
- Experience with modern IDEs (IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, Visual Studio) and very good English communication skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in developing enterprise software with knowledge of microservice architectures and distributed systems.
- Comfortable working in international, agile teams with customer- and service-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps) and practical experience in MES systems development or adaptation.
