About This Role
- Own end-to-end QA for a scrum team, handling scope, planning, estimation, execution, and reporting on testing for each software release.
- Build and maintain automated test suites (front-end, API, mobile, load, performance, UAT) plus internal QA tools and infrastructure (Selenium Grid, Docker, CI pipelines).
- Lead root-cause analysis of bugs, manage deployments to test environments, and incorporate AI tools to accelerate test creation and maintain AI-driven feature testing.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-5 years experience in manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications.
- Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript.
- Proficient with functional automation tools like Selenium (or Playwright/Cypress) and Rest Assured; experience testing backend components including databases, caches, and message queues.
- Experience setting up and maintaining QA infrastructure (Selenium Grid, Docker) and familiarity with Git and CI tools such as Jenkins.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated ownership of QA processes within agile/scrum teams including accurate planning and independent execution.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf) into daily QA workflows and testing AI-powered features.
- Deep understanding of complex application architectures enabling creation of robust test strategies and end-user focused usability testing.
