About This Role
- Own and enhance backend data platform services focusing on scalability, performance, reliability, cost-efficiency, and compliance.
- Develop and operate data discovery, metadata platforms, and AI-powered workflows to support thousands of internal data users.
- Collaborate with product managers and analytics teams to improve trust and reduce friction in data ecosystems, maintaining platform SLAs and operational tooling.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in computer science-related software engineering roles.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent (B.E./B.Tech., M.E./M.Tech, or Ph.D.).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Go, Java, or Python.
- Experience with Big Data infrastructure, cost efficiency, governance, or backend production systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience building or maintaining scalable, reliable data infrastructure and platforms in fast-moving, product-driven environments.
- Skilled in integrating AI tools within software development lifecycle for automation and improvement.
- Familiarity with open-source data technologies (e.g., Spark, Clickhouse, Iceberg, Airflow) is a plus.
